Smith-
Bob Smith started Smith Lighting Sales in December of 1969. He is married to Nancy and they have 4 grown children and 5 grandchildren. Bob manages the company, calls on specifiers and acts as a lighting advisor to many firms in the specifying industry. He is a 3 time past president of the local chapter of IES and past president of the state electrical league. He has also taught classes in lighting at OU, OSU, UCO and OCUSA as a means of giving back to the industry.

Nancy has been with Smith Lighting Sales, Inc. since 1972. She is involved in the overall management of the company and calls on interior designers and architects. Her enthusiasm brings a lot the company.

Jeri
Beard-
Jeri attended school in Kentucky, moved to Oklahoma, and met and married her
husband; they have two children and 3 grandchildren. Jeri has been in the
lighting business since 1995. Previously she managed property, including United
Founders Tower, a 20 story office building. While in property management,
she served as President of the Building and Owners Management Association
and was listed in Who’s Who in the South and Southwest. She is also a
licensed Real Estate agent and member of N.A.W.I.C. Jeri works closely with
distributors and factories to insure on time delivery and great service.

Linda was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas, where she graduated from Tascosa High School. She moved to Oklahoma in 1970 to attend college and graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford with a degree in Business. Linda has worked in the lighting business since 1984 and is a member of N.A.W.I.C. (National Association of Women in Construction). Linda has a great wealth of knowledge on which many customers rely. Her duties involve special projects quotes and special projects order entry.

Kent is a native of Oklahoma City and has 3 sons. He majored in Engineering at the University of Oklahoma. He began his career in lighting in 1974. The close social ties and valued professional affiliations resulting from this commitment to his roots continues to provide Kent with great success in all endeavors. Kent currently is director of quotations at Smith Lighting.

Jeff was born in Southern California and raised in northeastern Oklahoma on a small farm. He is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a degree in History. Before joining Smith Lighting Sales he was a Youth Minister, manager of a B. Dalton Bookstore and worked in the computer field. He has worked for Smith Lighting since 1997 doing quotes, Visual 2.2 lighting layout designs and foot-candle printouts.

Pam comes to Smith Lighting from a long career in Electrical Distribution, most recently at the local Rexel branch. Pam also
is involved in fitness instruction at Southern Athletic in Oklahoma City.
Pam will be involved in order servicing, as well as general customer
service and submittal preparation. Pam's experience and her
wonderful personality makes her an invaluable addition to our staff.

Eric Stewart has been with Smith Lighting since 2000. He works
with architects, engineers and designers primarily. Eric also is
talking about himself in the third person because he designs and
maintains the website you are seeing now. Eric is married to Jeanna
Stewart and they recently became the proud adoptive parents of Amelia Fay Stewart, born on Feb. 15th, 2005. Eric will succeed Bob Smith as president of Smith Lighting in 2010 when Bob retires.

Jeanna Stewart-
Jeanna has her own business, Smith-Stewart Inc. She works with Smith Lighting
calling on people in the corrections market promoting jail lighting along
with her own products for the corrections and mental health markets. Jeanna
is married to Eric Stewart

Shellee comes to us from Hobby Lobby's corporate office here in OKC.
Shellee has a background in Lighting as well as Interior Design.
Shellee is married to Dennis Wells, and they have twin daughters
currently in college. Shellee will be working in outside sales
alongside Eric and Bob, working with specifiers on decorative
and specialty products. In the short time Shellee has been with us,
she has established herself as a real resource for specifiers.

Brittany handles Order services for several distributors.
She recently was married to Justin Pittman and has
made Smith Lighting her full time career. She is a very
effective resource for our distributors. Brittany also handles
order services for National Accounts customers.

Bruce handles all aspects of our distributor stock programs.
He provides hands on service for any and all distributor
needs in this market. Bruce is also a licensed electrical
contractor and is experienced in all aspects of the
electrical business. Bruce is married with two children
and their family make their home in Cement, OK.
